This has been an amazing experience. One year ago this week I started putting together the Disaster Tales Podcast. I didn't know anything about podcasting, but I felt I had something to say. Working with my co-hosts, we've put together ten full episodes and have a couple more in the can.
Disasters are big and scary and completely arbitrary. We never know when one will strike, changing our lives forever. It's true that I've been managing responses disasters since I was about 8 years old. I've been blessed with an interesting life.
We work hard to find interesting stories, well-researched, with little-known details and first hand accounts. It takes a lot of digging, but we want to provide the best content we can get.
Now that we're moving towards a year's worth of episodes, I'd like to tell you what's coming up. We are trying to interview some very special people, researches and authors and people who's names you've heard before. We're moving forward and we want to take you with us.
I hope you take a minute to drop us a line. If you've heard the podcast, let us know what you think. Sign up on our member's page so we can get to know each other. And if you have a disaster story, we'd love to hear it. When we get enough we'll choose some to make a listener's episode.
So thank you for reading and listening. You can find all the podcast episodes on this website with the "Podcast" link at the top of each page. Enjoy, and like I said, shoot us an email.
